passing out

Hi All - well what a weekend that was two full days of craftiness - pure bliss!!

Saturday was spent demonstrating over at the Craftrange I had 3 yes 3 brayers on the go!!! one for ink one for distress stains and dylusion sprays and one for distress paints - Oh I had great fun - will post some pictures of my samples later in the week .  In the meantime - here's one I made this afternoon.

This is a first for me - I have been asked for a card to congratulate a lad on passing out in the Army needed a soldier on the front and the words,

Soooooo what to do - well I found a nice picture of the soldier against the clouds which I thought I could utilise so I took it into CAP2 and added the words.  I added a black border and printed it out.  I used the graduated colour picker to change the colour of some commando style backing paper added the tank trucks and the word army.

Oh they like it - cos I was quite chuffed how it came out
