I made this one with the shabby pin embossing enamel it doesn't really show on the pic but it has gold in it oo hence the cream and gold card to go with. the embossing done with one of the spellbinder double sided folders. Can't you tell it's the wedding season I seem to have made quite a lot of wedding cards but hey ho they keep selling!!

Shabby Blue
Hi
This is a wedding card where I have used the lovely lace again (very pale blue version) but this time I trimmed off the top.
Background done on Hougie board and behind the heart I have embossed with Stampendous Shabby blue embossing enamels. I got some of these the other week at Port Sunlight - they are really lovely but discovered not too good for fine work like writing.

Dad's taxi
Sorry I have not posted for a while - I just do not know where the time is going .
Whilst I'm here I'll post a few to come up on the schedule as I have decided that I am not making any cards today. I have been busy catching up with housework - I know in this heat - I must be mad. I am tired now so just going to catch up on the old PC and do some admin and stuff.
Another Dad's day card
I stamped the background with a script stamp I cut two dies in black from a Samantha Walker die by spellbinders and cut off the fancy bits at the end . I linked these over and xcut die shape in white that I distressed with slate adirondak, stamped on the old card and sentiment and coloured with a water brush and the slate ink with a slight touch of red for the seats inside.

don't miss the bus
A plain little fathers day card.
I coloured an oval piece of card with blue at the top and a greyish bottom, stamped the bus (from stamps away) in brown and coloured in with a water brush. I then triple embossed with UTEE and mounted up.

80th birthday
Hi this is part two of yesterday's post.
Same card, same embossing folder. I cut out a fancy circle large enough to meet the filigree. this was made from the top half of the hearts that I cut for the other card. I embossed in gold and added a little gold ribbon across the middle of the card then mounted on gold mirri card and then used the dark green to make the actual card.http://www.facebook.com/LindasHandMadeCards

60th birthday
I have been asked for a 60th and an 80th birthday card and I have some lovely pale and dark green pearlised card so I thought I would make both along the same lines so as not to have any waste. This is the first one, I'll post the other one tomorrow.
I used a "square" die by x cut for the central section with the greeting. Then I used the next size up at right angles. i added a frame made from the two largest dies.
I then cut 4 hearts from a memory box die and cut off the bottom bits to give the fancy filigree work. The background is embossed with a paisley embossing folder. I didn't have any green ribbon that looked right so I took some self adhesive paper lace tape, coloured it with a green pro marker, heat embossed with some pearly green mica embossing powder but still wasn't quite right so I overlayed that with some pale blue. Not quite but near enough.
Made some little flowers with the waste from the background and added a couple of hatpins et voila

A hint of Pink
A wedding card with a hint of pink
Background is embossed in cuttlebug and I've used a set of splendid circles behind the sentiments. The inner and outer circles have been distressed with a bit of antique rose from Tim Holtz. I have embossed the middle circle with some stampendous embossing powder that has a lot of glitter in.
I added a border of very pale pink lace that I got from Grace & Favour in Thornton.
The flowers were made by stamping onto vellum, embossing and forming.http://www.facebook.com/LindasHandMadeCards
