Another little card using the fob watches. I also have some stamps that are all clock faces, cogs and fingers these were from Kanban. I distressed around the edges of card with shabby shutters leaving an area in the middle alone. I then added a mask and inked through two opposite corners with oregano adirondak. I stamped the images with vintage photo. the chain is just a short strip so I used it several times. I mounted it onto plain white card that I again distressed to tone and then put it all on some brown card.
Hi welcome to by blog a place to see the cards and other random stuff I have made. I hope you enjoy having a look around and thank you for visiting

Tempus Fugit
I haven't had time to do any crafting this week until today so I have made 4 men's cards and will schedule them to post over the next few days.
This one was inspired by the homework I did for the Clarity Northwest workshop that I attended last week.
The picture doesn't actually show it but the background has been stamped all over with a Clarity crackle stamp and then distressed with weathered wood distress and then I added the diamonds. This is a little strip of three diamonds that arrived one month from the Clarity project club. The medium watch and the tempus fugit stamp were a free gift with Craft stamper magazine and they go very well with the fob watch stamps from Clarity. I mounted on another piece of card that I coloured with a mixture of denim adirondak and weathered wood ( oh thank you tom for the wonderful splodge away mat). I mounted the whole thing on a 15 x 15 card that I slightly distressed with weathered wood to tone in.

homework ballons
Last months homework for Maria was balloon so this is what I have come up with.
I stamped the small balloon in moss green, antique pink and withered wood distress inks. I then masked these off and stamped the large balloon with aged mahogany. I then masked off this too. I created the clouds by using a piece of paper to create cloud shape and using a sponge added some cloudy blue adirondak. I then used a cut out mask for each balloon and stamped through with other stamps. The green one has oak leaves and the blue one has blossom leaves both from the leaves that come with the Clarity split tree stamp. the pink balloon has a miniature corner and the large one has the top of a stamp I think is called oats.
I have coloured in the balloons with pro markers and finally edged with blue ink.
A lot of work but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

homework watches
OOOH excited today I am off to do a Clarity workshop with the lovely Maria Simms. It is the first time I have done one but they run quite often. Maria also sets homework so I have joined in and her is my effort - I'll post my other effort tomorrow.
The rule is a piece of 3" x 3" artwork to include that workshops stamp plus any other clarity stamp. June's homework was a watch fob.
I stamped the large fob in with a kaleidoscape mutli coloured inkpade - creole spice. I used a different part of the pad for the sideways on clock face, and the middle of the pad for the small watches. I then masked them all off and stamped in first and second generation ink the diamonds which is a small stamp of three diamonds in a row. I have then removed the masks and toned down the white card with antique linen distress ink and then gone around the edges with moss green.

mini Christmas (2)
More little mini cards for Christmas all the stamps except for the bell stamp in the corner are
clarity stamps and I think the bells are from an Artemio set. stamped using bottle green, and cranberry adirondak dye based ink pads and weathered wood distress ink. The Christmas tree and bell one has been coloured using pro markers I added some glitter with a quickie glue pen to the bottom right hand one.

t.shirt
Here she is just a little something daft!
I took an image from the net into Serif, got rid of all the background and added a picture of my daughter in the window. printed it onto t shirt transfer paper and ironed it on.

leafy twirl and flower
I made this card for my daughter's birthday which was yesterday so safe to post today. I normally do something with a camper van as she is mad on them so I thought I'd do something elegant for a change. ( I have done her a t shirt tho - so I'll post this after I have downloaded pic.
I stamped the two leafy twirls in versamark onto Clarity card and then
I brayered it with a kaleidacolor multi coloured inkpad in creole spice. I did one end of the card then turned it around and did the other so that I got a lighter section in the middle. After it was dry I polished it and then over stamped with moss green distress ink to give a shadow. I brayered another piece of card with moss green and spritzed with water again to get the mottle effect. I brayed another small card on both sides, cut out a circle to make the central flower. I hope she likes it!

pink swirl
I started with my splodge mat and a brayer. I did the whole thing with antique pink and then I went over again with aged mahogany. I then sprayed with water from a spritzer and rolled a kitchen roll over to soak up leave a mottled effect. I used the large and small leafy swirl from Clarity and a happy birthday stamp which I think came from circa stamps in aged mahogany.

crackling along
I cannot believe that I haven't posted since last Wednesday - where does the time go. I have three cards to post so I will set up the schedule and hopefully have some more ready to post by Friday.
I am very excited as I have booked a Clarity workshop with Maria Simms at Lostock on Saturday and she has just sent a list of stuff to take. - can't wait.
Anyway this is just a little mans card. I took a square of white card and masked out the middle to leave a square. I then used a clarity crackle stamp all around the edge in moss green distress ink. I distressed with antique linen distressed and and the followed with frayed burlap. I removed the mask from the centre and then used antique linen just to take away the whiteness. I stamped the car with mushroom adirondak and coloured with moss green distress ink and water. I mounted it on a piece of green and then onto some cream ribbed card.

mini Christmas
I thought I would make some mini Christmas cards ready to put on my stall at the craft fairs. I had a book of little pictures from Crafty Individuals Miniatures Merry Christmas and I also have a square frame stamp that I have had some time that says Merry Christmas all the way round. Fortunately it is JUST the right size for the small images. I think they are pretty.
I made 9x9cm cards then I cut out a piece 8 x 8 cm this I stamped in various colours picking out the shades in the pictures. I also used the same ink to add a touch of colour around the edge. I added the image and mounted onto foam pads. There are 9 images to a page all of a similar theme so I have made up the bundles in packs of 9. I still have loads left so if they sell well I can make some more ha ha. Fingers crossed.
heavenly headress
I was looking in my box for a piece of scrap card when I came across this digi image I coloured in the other week so I thought I'd just turn it into a quick card.
The weather here is absolutely diabolical - sky box gone off and everything. Never mind I have spent the whole afternoon crafting - I will do another post to show you what I've been up to.

pink flowers
Another card I didn't get around to posting. I stamped and inked the background. I have shaded the panels with pink and blue, stamped and coloured with promarkers. The lovely lace is from the local haberdashery stall in the market hall.

filigree birthday
Trying to catch up with cards I have made. the background was embossed with a paisley double sided spellbinder folder. (there is a join behind the happy birthday).
The dies are both from memory box and all the black card stock is Clarity card in black. I added a few square black gems and the sentiment has been embossed in Silver.

Baby bootees
Hi there strangers. I am so sorry I have not been here for yonks but I have been so busy and had some technical issues with my laptop, printer and trying to get photos from camera to lap top. It's all sorted now (fingers crossed) so I just thought I'd do a quick post for heading out (again).
I was looking in a magazine and there was a template for these little bootees. I downloaded it and took into into the Serif software. From there I took into cut out studio and got rid of all the back ground. exported it as a png file.
I then opened up a new project and added my png file through the photos tab. from there I made it into a stencil.
Once I got to that point it was easy to re-size or change the colour, pattern whatever by adding "material" over the top. I made another page with a square in the middle and writing around the sides and on another page made a square to form the inside lining of the bottom of the box. and a circle with the same lettering to form the gift tag.
I then printed everything out, made the box and lined it, cur out the square from the lid and replaced with acetate, used a spellbinder to form the gift tag. I made the bootees and added braid around the bottom and used a tiny pearl ribbon buckle for the buckles on the shoes.
I some how get the feeling I will be using this trick again!
