Holiday
Hi all
Been on holiday -hence no posts!
we had a lovely time and the weather was not too bad (makes a change for us!) sad thing is my beloved Bessie (car) died on the way home and had to come home in the RAC van - he thinks the engine's done - I do tend to do a lot of mileage (1400 this week!) Anyho so not been out today and so decided to have a play with my serif software that I got when it was free and make a scrapbook of my holiday pics. - not cards I know but still!!!

the allotment
well it had to be done - I came across a poem about a retired guy, his allotment and escaping from the wife - ergo I had to make a card to fit the verse! ha ha
the guy is a digital image but the background has been coloured using my brushes and inkpads and then I created a little scene with stamps

Bunch of flowers
Hi All
Sorry not been around much lately I just don't now where the time is going!
I've had fun and games with the car and just general stuff going on.
Thought I'd post this little card that I made sometime last week . Got no mojo at the moment - think I need a holiday !!
I have distressed all three sections with pink at the top and blue at the bottom with my brushes. A couple of clarity stamps coloured with promarkers and I have added a script to the background

Ruby Wedding
Similar to the last two posts but I embossed vellum for the background and then used some fancy corners to cover up the glue!
I distressed the actual white card just to make it blend in.

Silver wedding
The next three posts are all on the same lines but just goes to show that different colours but same materials make different cards.
Background embossed with a special touch of mica mask. Used some nice grey pearlised paper, white pearly card and silver mirri board.

A rose for my rose
An extra post today
I made this one yesterday afternoon it is a woodware stamp and I have coloured with promarkers. The backgrounds have been done with brushes and inks and I've added a couple of memory box borders

flowers
This is just a little posy that I made using a stamp form Dimensionstamps.
I stamped the flower shape onto vellum and then added the pattern I embossed in white and cut out the shapes, I made three flowers in total and threaded one little flower with pearls through the middle. I then wrapped three flowers together on some florist wire - I do like it. Don't know what I'm going to do with it but isn't it pretty.

35th anniversary
I made this card for a lovely lady who found me on the net she wanted something spectacular for her husband and had seen a picture of the 65th Wedding anniversary card I did a while back. Got email last night to say it had arrived and she was chuffed to bits - I am so glad she liked it.
I made the gold frill by cutting 4 borders from Lacy Doily Accents - spellbinders. I then stuck them all together scored in between the peaks and made it into a circle like you would when making a rosette. however I didn't have enough of hands to hold it all down and spread out evenly to stick it down so I used my noggin and threaded gold thread through the holes and tied it in place whilst I stuck it down!!! thread doesn't show.

blue & pink wedding
Another wedding day - another with the shabby blue & pink embossing enamel. This time with the top half of the lovely lace.
Again background with hougie board and the die is a spellbinders Samantha Walker
The blue has bits of silver in and the pink has bits of gold - can't you tell I like it.

two babies
Two cards - same theme just different colours. As you can see the shabby pin and blue embossing enamel is not too good on words - it is actually not too bad in real life but won't be using it again.
Just two quick cards cut with xcut dies and a marianne pram.
