last of the series

Final one in the series very similar to yesterday's post and was the last of the paper. This too had a frame on it so I cut this out and mounted onto gold mirri the background is some pale green pearly card and I have stamped and embossed in clear butterflies to add a bit of detail.

fluttering by

More of the paper - I did get three sheets !!

The sentiment is a clarity stamp verse so it goes well with the butterfly.  Butterfly cut with a die and double embossed with mica and embossing powder.

Flowers are made courtesy of Stella who kindly gave me a box full of little flowers.

more fancy ribbon

Version three of my fancy paper  I used some more of the ribbon/lace on this one still only a little bit -  I have a little bit left still for future use.
I stamped all over the top half with versamark and a script stamp and then added gold mica powder,  I had no card that matched really - this is where I come unstuck when I buy papers - lack of things to match.  Anyhow I cut a label out of pearl paper, used my inkylicious brushes to distress first with antique linen then added some victorian velvet (pink) over the top

I cut out the top die from the same paper that I used for the bottom half of the card. Stamped and embossed the sentiment.

frame paper

Some more of the paper.  it was scrapbook paper and this one had a rectangle frame on it with some fancy flourishes.  I cut around the frame and flourish, covered the flourish in versamark and then covered it with gold mica powder.  made a few flowers, hat pin and added a bit of very fancy ribbon/lace was v expensive so only used a it !!

pink lady

Hi everyone

Not feeling too good today as my neck is covered in blister type sores I think I was bitten by something and now got an infection so doc has put me on anti everything biotics hystemines etc etc. so feeling like I'm rattling.

Not doing any crafting to today as feeling a bit achy and low so snuggled up in my comfy chair.

Over the last few days I have been making some cards with some lovely papers that I bought last week.  I don't often buy patterned papers and so sometimes I get a bit of a block when using them.

I will post them over the next few days on the schedule  (if it works ha ha ha)  as got to go shopping tomorrow so that I can go to craft club in the afternoon.  Aintree craft show on Friday (looking forward to that)  and then run my stall in Cleveleys on Saturday  ( hope I make enough to cover what I will spend on Friday ha ha)- busy busy busy .

The lady is a clarity stamp  - I have two a large one and a miniature one.

what no steering wheel!

Another clip art jobby toady with more backing paper from Tim Holtz.

I swear I don't seem to have a problem making the actual cards but finding and printing verses and then putting in cello bags etc etc takes nearly as long as doing the card! ha ha

Lovely Lace

I bought a bit of lace from the ladies at Grace and Favour from their stand on Saturday it's really deep and I thought it was lovely.

I did intend to emboss the background behind the splendid circles but I can't find my masks.  I had three of them with me when I went to my craft club last Thursday and now I can't find them. They're not at the shop - I checked.  So still hoping they turn up when I'm not looking for them.

Anyway back to the card I used my Hougie board to make the design on the pearlised card.

Looked at my stash after the weekend -need to make lots more cards.  It's all good stuff.

Wedding card

Hi all,  A quick post today as still making stuff for my stall.  I made this wedding card yesterday with some new dies.  Memory box heart and spellbinders splendid circles.  Cut these out in white pearly paper end embossed with a mica embossing powder - it gives it a mother of pearl look which I like.  I backed the heart with a pale lilac paper and cut some more circles out of the same to double up the circles - offset ( you can't really see that in the picture.  added some pale lilac ribbon.  background is pearlised card embossed with the hougie board the outside is pierced and I added some pearls.

Red again

Morning all

Here I am again with more of the red pearly card (LOL).  I did get some more colours yesterday ha ha

This picture definitely doesn't show the work behind the middle very well .

I inked pearly card in pink and the ran a white piece through an embossing folder for the background.  I cut some circles with spellbinder dies ready to layer up.  Behind the red circle are two more that have I scored into sections, cut one sect up to the middle, fanfolded both and stuck them together.  Basically its like two fans stuck together to form a circle.  I think it looks ok.  It's the samed trick I used on the 65th wedding annversary card.
